These files are stored securely using third-party storage providers and may be visible to other members within your selected circles. By uploading media, you consent to its storage and display within the app.

    Welcome to Pact. By downloading, accessing, or using the Pact app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

    1. Who We Are

    Pact is a goal-setting and accountability app designed to help you build habits, track commitments, and stay accountable with the people you choose. The App is operated by the SafeNest Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years old to use Pact. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.

    3. Your Account

    To use Pact, you will need to create an account. You are responsible for:

    • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.

    • All activity that occurs under your account.

    • Providing accurate and current information during registration.

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful, abusive, or fraudulent behavior.

    4. Subscriptions and Billing

    Pact offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Pact Pro"). By subscribing to Pact Pro, you agree to the following:

    • Free Trial: Pact Pro may include a free trial period (currently 7 days). Your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it expires.

    • Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. You will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

    • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you selected) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

    • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price change. Continued use after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

    • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

    • Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not control or process refunds directly.

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to use Pact in any way that:

    • Violates any applicable laws or regulations.

    • Harasses, threatens, or harms other users.

    • Uploads or transmits harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

    • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.

    • Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the App.

    • Reverse-engineers, decompiles, or attempts to extract source code from the App.

    6. User Content

    Pact allows you to create content such as goals, tasks, pacts, and messages shared within circles. By submitting content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. You retain ownership of your content.

    You are solely responsible for the content you post. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.

    7. Privacy

    Your use of Pact is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share your information. By using Pact, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All content, features, and functionality of the App — including the name "Pact," the app design, icons, and code — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our explicit written permission.

    9. Disclaimers

    Pact is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

    • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

    • Any results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable.

    Pact is a personal productivity tool. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes related to your habits, goals, or personal development.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    11. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Pact at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

    12. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

    Dispute Resolution

    Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class action, except where prohibited by law.

    You agree to waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.

    Account Deletion

    You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@pactapp.info. Upon request, we will delete your account and personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

    User Interactions

    We are not responsible for interactions between users, including communications, content, or behavior within circles or groups. You use these features at your own risk.

    Content Moderation

    We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms or is deemed harmful, abusive, or inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

    Notifications

    By using Pact, you consent to receive notifications, including reminders and accountability messages. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings.

    Health Disclaimer

    Pact is not a medical, psychological, or professional service. We do not provide health, mental health, or behavioral advice. Use of the App is at your own discretion.

    Service Availability

    We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or without interruption. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
